We planted our first peace tree in the Sanitation Institute in Gandhi Ashram, Ahmedabad, India. Mahatma Gandhi lived here for more than 15 years sharing message of non-violence and love with the world. It’s a banyan tree at the center of the space, planted with an intention that as we nourish the roots, the community gets strengthened.
We did a collective prayer for universal peace and have named the tree – ‘Jagat Anand’ (Universal Joy / Bliss).
