Shamanism – A Spiritual Ecology and Holistic Approach to Peace Building

Experiential workshop, introducing participants into core shamanism – a transcultural and modern approach in shamanism.

In this experiential workshop participants are introduced into the principles of core shamanism, the universal and near-universal basic methods of the shaman to enter non-ordinary reality for problem solving and healing.
The primary aim is to allow participants to experience that all is alive and interconnected, that all is one. Core shamanism, consequently implemented through frequent practice, necessarily effects in a powerful, holistic, ecological and peaceful approach to life.

Roland Urban

Roland Urban is Director of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Europe. He implements as well as manages international workshop and research activities, and practices shamanically. In addition, he is a health, clinical and emergency psychologist, community worker, lecturer, author and publisher. Besides shamanism, the main foci of his work are health promotion, participation, empowerment, community and democracy building.
