“Point of View” A film about life as a Refugee

September 2, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until September 16, 2020

“Point of View” is a project in which we try to understand where different cultures, different lives
and different problems took us in the long journey of humanity.

The issue of refugees raises important questions for Europe. The integration of refugees, the issue of identity and how they would live their culture are still matters of debate in everyday life and international politics.

Before delving into such matters, we think it’s important to know refugees as human beings, to hear their ideas about life, to see how they feel.

We talked about most basic themes of life such as family, home, love, dreams, good and bad with
people who came from Kobane, Syria, Iraq, Sudan and Turkey and took refuge in other countries.
Then we asked the same questions to people from European countries such as France, Italy and
Germany to see just how different or similar we actually are.
