The Kindness Revolution at #KinderLeeds presents …. Kinder Relationships Day on Tues 8th Sept, 2020. This day is one of our daily themes as part of Leeds Festival of Kindness, Compassion and Wellbeing, 2020. We present a range of events on this day, including a Kind Listening Circle, a panel exploration and discussion about BAME health inequalities and a supportive safe space to explore bereavement lead by a trained counsellor. A Kind Listening Circle 10:30am-12:00pm 

A structured and facilitated practice space to explore self-kindness and the relationship you have with yourself through connection with others. Limited spaces available. Register HERE

BAME and Health Inequalities – a Kindness Exchange Event 2:00pm-3:00pm  
This session is designed to enable a safe space for people to be able to share and explore what kinder relationships could possibly look like when it comes to the recent BAME Health Inequalities highlighted through this pandemic of COVID19.  The question to be explored  is “What steps should or can be taken to help minimise the BAME Health inequalities moving forward?”
The panel will include both NHS and third sector professionals from Leeds who will share their valuable insights and learning. More info and Register HERE
 
COVID19 Bereavement Support Session 4:00pm-5:00pm
This event is a safe and therapeutic space for people to come and explore loss and bereavement experienced through this pandemic Covid19. You may choose to share your Loss and Grief or just choose to listen to others, rest assured your choice will be respected and held with warmth. The Person Centred Approach to this event is to show and feel the experience of being held with kindness for one another through Loss experienced either directly or indirectly. The event will be facilitated and held by Ansa E Ahmed, a qualified and registered bereavement counsellor, the founder of HOPE bereavement support CIC. Register HERE

Ansa E Ahmed, Ba(Hons), DipL4, Bacp, Founder and CEO of Hope Bereavement Support CIC, is a qualified and registered counselling therapist and training Consultant in Diversity and Inclusion work. I have my own private practice for therapeutically working with individuals and couples, my consultancy work is more on a strategic level from grassroots to leadership approach and this is aimed locally to regionally and nationally.
