Kinder Communities Day @ The Leeds Festival of Kindness Compassion and Wellbeing
September 11, 2020

Kindness and Compassion form the ground in which personal, public and community wellbeing can flourish.
With the effects of the pandemic, economic uncertainty and the issues raised by Black Lives Matter weighing on us all, there is no better time to come together to share and celebrate the hope that the making acts of kindness, taking place within our city of Leeds in the UK and the wider world, represent.
On Friday 11th September we will be celebrating the theme of Kinder Communities in the broadest sense. We have a discussion between a group of small local organisations exploring how we can become Kind Connected Communities and there are two opportunities to take part in a Kind Listening Circle Later on in the day you can join with singer-songwriter Melissa James of Sing4Sane, hear from Mama Na Moto Mother and Baby Project and round off the day by coming together for the wonderful #TwitterDisco!
Reserve your virtual seat today, and do check out our ‘Six Ways to a Kinder World’ in the full events timetable at kinderleeds.org. Our whole festival week will show how the good people of Leeds are nurturing KINDNESS TO SELF, KINDER RELATIONSHIPS, KINDER BUSINESS, KINDER SPACES, KINDER COMMUNITIES, and being KINDER TO OUR PLANET.
