Flows of kindness

An invitation to offer your body a little kind attention. In this gently guided space we’ll be bringing compassionate body awareness, and the flows of kindness, to our experience of being a body in motion.

Your invitation

Join Maria in gently guiding kind attention to your body in motion.

The body is our home. The only place we can ever be:  although our mind has a strong habitual pull to be elsewhere. During this embodied movement we’ll be:

  • gathering mindful awareness and becoming wakeful to our body  
  • offering compassionate attention to our bodies in motion 
  • re-membering and re-connecting with the flows of kindness     

Preparation. 

Very little! The intention is to offer a little kindness to your body. It is for all bodies, in their wholeness. You may choose to move, or visualise the body-kind movements. You may wish to stand, sit, or lie down –  or all 3?  

Choose a space that is comfortable, and will suit the type of body movements you enjoy. If you prefer a lot of movement, you may want to use a speaker instead of headphones. 

If possible, choose a space where you won’t be interrupted.

During the practice you’ll be reminded that only you are the expert of what feels kind, and connecting, for your unique body. 

Choose comfortable clothing. 

Choose to arrive in the spirit of being kind – to your body and mind.

Maria is a compassion based mindfulness practitioner, teacher and supervisor, who facilitates gently held spaces in person, and online. Blending kinder ways of being with intuitive flow and playful creativity is something she loves. The wonder-full events that unfold when listening to the flow of intuity, continue to surprise her. Maria brings over 20 years of professional work experience in Educational Inclusion and Community Mental Health and Wellbeing when connecting with individuals, groups, and communities, in their diversity and wholeness. It’s a pleasure to facilitate spaces in collaboration and co-creation with others, in ways that help us to re-member and re-connect with self, others, and nature.
