Join a growing movement of social change activists all over the world; we envision this caravan to grow into one of the largest, diverse physical and digital collective movements for peace in human history.

The Caravan of Unity is an innovative event series exploring the many dimensions of Peace through Spirit, Dialogue, Art and Action throughout Europe and the world.

We see all humanity as a community of travelers on a journey toward a more peaceful, socially inclusive and sustainable world. Our vision is based on the realization of the prior unity of all beings. The Caravan of Unity encourages everyone of us to contribute our part to this communal journey. Only as a collective beyond borders and cultures can we inspire a positive evolution for humankind.

Throughout the first three weeks of September we encourage compassionate activists to host or take part in a series of events, culminating in the celebrations of the World Day of Peace on September 21.

Co-Creating Europe, host of the Caravan of Unity’s European leg, is a growing network of individuals, initiatives and organizations from around Europe and the world. Together with our partners, Unity Earth, The Hague Center for Global Governance, One Humanity Institute, and The Missing Kind we envision this caravan to grow into one of the largest, diverse physical and digital collective movements for peace in human history.

Manifest peace your own way;
Come join our R-Evolutionary party!

We invite you as an individual, your group, or organisation to join the caravan and engage with your ideas, projects, initiatives and communities, and contribute to our exploration of the many dimensions of peace and unity.

The success of the caravan depends on all of our active participation. It is a self-organizing initiative which will grow organically from the inspiration, actions and connections of those that resonate with its intention to create peace and unity worldwide. You are wholeheartedly invited to help co-create this major event series with a diverse gathering of local and global peacemakers, indigenous and spiritual leaders, musicians, artists, celebrities, ecological advocates and more.

You are invited to participate by proposing and organizing an event, discussion, meditation, meeting, party, lecture, donating music, poetry or an art exhibit… whatever resonates with you.  What piece of the collective puzzle can you bring?

What’s happening?

Welcome to the Caravan of Unity: a ground-breaking series of events taking place across Europe and the world exploring the many dimensions of peace through spirit, dialogue, art and action.

The Caravan of Unity is not a caravan in a classic sense. Originally used to describe a diverse group of people travelling together by camel or camper van, we define the term caravan in a new and contemporary way.

What travels in our caravan is the energy of peace and the spirit of unity, finding expression through the actions and events of our Europe-wide network of members, friends and co-creators during the first three weeks of September 2020 and culminating in the global celebration of World Peace Day on September 21st.

Co-Creating Europe, host of the Caravan of Unity’s European leg, is a growing network of individuals, initiatives and organisations from Europe and around the world. Together with our partners, Unity Earth, The Hague Center for Global Governance, One Humanity Institute and The Missing Kind, we envision this caravan to grow into one of the largest and most diverse physical and digital collective movements for peace in human history.

Celebrating diversity amidst the prior unity of all beings

Held by a strong virtual infrastructure and dedicated participants in 27 European nations, the Caravan of Unity aims to connect purposeful people and projects and create a European field of consciousness that strengthens unity in diversity. Our vision is based on the realisation of the prior unity of all beings: the deep and timeless interconnection that knits us together as one human family. The Caravan of Unity will strive to inspire a shared sense of inner and outer peace, instil kind-heartedness as a guiding motif for cooperation, and contribute towards inclusive and just societies at local and transnational levels.

In conjunction, a sister caravan will be moving across the USA, starting in San Francisco’s historic Grace Cathedral and culminating in Washington DC. This caravan will weave its way from West to East, carrying a torch of hope and healing for this time of historic change.

The European Caravan of Unity will provide the foundation for a second phase of action in 2021, including a Kindness Convoy (details below) and other actions and events created through the synergies and collaborations of our participants’ work and visions.

At this time of unprecedented global challenge and change, what more can we hope for than a regeneration for humanity that is rooted in the values of peace, unity and transnational solidarity!

Why a Caravan of Unity?

We see all European citizens as a community of travellers on a journey towards a more peaceful, sustainable and socially inclusive Europe. In solidarity with the rest of the world, our vision is based on the realisation of the prior unity of all beings: the deep and timeless interconnection that knits us together as one human family. As a collective that reaches beyond borders and cultures, we hope to inspire and enact a positive evolution for all humankind.

The Caravan of Unity is a call to action that aims to reconnect fragmented elements of society, use compassionate and co-creative actions to revive traditions and inherent natural values, and establish a network of new and innovative community initiatives. The caravan will strive to inspire a shared sense of inner and outer peace, instil kind-heartedness as a guiding motif for cooperation, and contribute towards inclusive and just societies at local and transnational levels.

Thinking and acting together across borders

How can you get involved?

You can join the Caravan of Unity by engaging with your own ideas, artworks, projects or community programs. The success of the caravan depends on the active participation of us all: it is a self-organising initiative which will grow organically from the inspiration, actions and connections of those that resonate with its intention to create worldwide peace and unity.

Compassionate activists already working towards conscious change may consider hosting in-person seminars and workshops or online live-streams on topics relevant to their context and community. Existing community groups may wish to organise peace choirs, community meditations or tree-planting projects in their local area. Artists and individuals may be inspired to create music, photos and poetry or organise cross-border art exhibitions or online galleries… whatever resonates with you most!

The Caravan of Unity encourages individuals and organisations to contribute towards this communal journey in ways which feel most appropriate and meaningful to them. So from festivals and flash-mobs to a poem or painting, each offering is welcomed and no contribution is too small. Which piece of the collective puzzle will you bring?

Who can participate?

Everyone is welcome in the Caravan of Unity regardless of age, experience or political orientation: all that counts is your desire to contribute towards a more peaceful world.

The caravan will feature a diverse range of social, political and spiritual change activists including indigenous communities, peacemakers, artists, ecologists, musicians, spiritual leaders and social alchemists, as well as members of the general public who resonate with the caravan’s aims and actions and simply want to join the movement.

So whether you’re 8 or 80, in France or in Finland, an existing change-maker or simply someone wishing to create a brighter collective future, we invite you to join us and enrich the Caravan of Unity with the unique treasures and talents of your own culture and community.

One Tree: Planting Peace

Planting a tree can be a conscious act of love for all that exists. We can all plant trees together with our families and friends, in our communities, villages, towns and holy places. In doing so we not only imagine a world in peace, but express our collective longing for a whole and sacred world.

Planting trees worldwide is much more than a symbolic act. Together we are planting a huge Tree of Life: a tree we all care for, making it a place for listening not only to the wisdom of nature, but also to each other’s hearts, celebrating life in prior unity and respecting diversity. The Tree of Life reminds us that all life is inseparably ONE.

Emerging Proud 2020: Inner and Outer peace

This year’s Emerging Proud Day explores the connection between inner and outer peace as well as the relationship between peace on an individual and systemic level.

Proud Emergees are invited to produce their own representation of what this year’s concept means to them, whether through art, poetry, music or an activity. Emergees will be invited to share their creation via the blog and on social media from Emerging Proud Day on 12 May up until the Caravan launch, planting the seeds of activity which will grow to be featured during the Caravan of Unity events taking place between 1-21st of September.

European Walk and Voices

Co-Creating Europe activists Anders and Atanas are jointly hosting an immersive experience focused on embodied experiences of peace and unity. It starts with a vocal workshop where the experience of unity in diversity becomes physically tangible through the magic of choral music. The workshop will be followed by a guided hike through Bulgaria’s Rhodope Mountains for several days, during which singing is continued, alternating with moments of deep silence and inner reflection.
